CLARITY Act status
Passed the House. Not law yet.
The CLARITY Act cleared the House 294–134 in July 2025. On Sept 15, 2026 the Senate fell short of the 60 votes needed to start debate (49–50). A motion to reconsider is on file, so the bill could return.
