Why delistings happen

In the US, exchanges have pulled tokens when regulators alleged they were securities (e.g. after the SEC's 2023 lawsuits). In the EU, MiCA's stablecoin rules led platforms to restrict stablecoins whose issuers weren't authorised. If the CLARITY Act passes, registered US exchanges would list digital commodities under CFTC rules (House-passed text, Sec. 403).
